Timing

about 30mins from downtown Dunhuang to Mogao;

5-10mins from the Parking Lot to the Ticket Office;

10-15mins from the Center for Conservation, Research and Exhibition of Dunhuang Grottoes to the Entrance to caves (including photo taking en route);

10-20mins from the Ticket Office to the Entrance to caves (including scenery viewing and photo taking);

20-30mins for visiting the Center for Conservation, Research and Exhibition of Dunhuang Grottoes;

90-120mins for visiting the caves (including visiting the Exhibition Hall of the Hidden Library Cave);

30-60mins for landscape viewing, photo taking and shopping.
